Julie is a Founding Partner of La Honda Advisors, an investment banking boutique based in Palo Alto, CA, focused on advising growth businesses. She brings more than 30 years of Investment Banking experience, focusing primarily on the private financing markets and advisory transactions for a variety of technology, IT and business services companies. Prior to founding La Honda Advisors, she was Managing Director and Head of Private Capital Markets for Cowen & Company. She was previously Co-Head of Private Financing at Houlihan Lokey, Head of Technology Private Equity at Merrill Lynch and spent six years at Salomon Brothers (Citigroup) growing the Private Equity business through two mergers. She started her career after graduate school as an associate in M&A at Morgan Stanley. Julie graduated with Honors in Philosophy at Dartmouth College and received a JD / MBA at The Wharton School of Business and the Law School at the University of Pennsylvania.
